Homestay message
Hello my name is Melaney. We own our home in Santee, CA 92071.
We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. We rent out 1 room for $575.00 per month. Utilities are included. Your food is $50.00 a week additional. This is based on 3 meals a day. I'm willing to change this if you only need less meals each day. Smoking is allowed outside the house.
Utilities include:
Local phone calls, wireless high speed internet in room, water, trash, electric & gas, cox cable in room and use of washer & dryer. We have central air and heating. We also have a kitchen. I cook a lot. The guys like full meals most days. Or you can cook for yourself.
We would like to find a guest that need to live here at least 6 months or as long as 2 years. Room is available NOW February 6, 2010
In the room there is a twin bed, dresser, desk and light, A cabinet center with TV, clock-Radio. Large closet with doors. The room has 2 windows, it is painted off white with the whole room accented in dark blue. The room has a locked door with a key for your privacy.
We are very family oriented. My son is 19 still in school and has his own room. My husband works on F18 airplanes Monday-Friday. He goes to work early everyday during the week. So its quiet around here during the week. We would enjoy learning different cultures and helping you learn ours.
We have a very small dog she is indoors and a cat too.
The bus stop is 5 minutes from our house. Or you can walk 15 minutes to the trolley station. Which you take anywhere in San Diego really easy. Freeways are close too. Large shopping mall and grocery store is a 10 minutes walk. We have a YMCA which offers a pool and areas to workout is only 5 minutes away.
